Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Measures

Your safety and well-being are paramount.

At all times and even more so today the safety, comfort, and well-being of guests and team member associates is paramount. More than ever our society has become increasingly and understandably concerned with the quality of the air we breathe.

To that end, we are pleased to announce we have completed the installation of an air purification system that leads the field in performance and reputation for excellence.

Earlier this year our HVAC service provider recommended we install a system from Global Plasma Solutions, a leader in the field of air quality, known for their innovative Needle Point BiPolar Ionization platform (NPBI).

In recent tests with Aviation Clean Air, NPBI technology was used to inactivate Sars-CoV-2 and after 30 minutes 99.4% of the virus was inactivated. Charles Waddell Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Global Plasma Solutions remarked “This  is a clear indication that NPBI is the gold standard in air purification.”

He continued “From Commercial buildings, schools hospitals, hotels delivering the cleanest, safest indoor air environment will only become increasingly important and our ozone-free technology is one of the most sophisticated products on the market.”

NPBI technology works to safely clean indoor air, leveraging an electronic charge to create a high concentration of positive and negative ions. These ions travel through the air continuously seeking out and attaching to articles. This sets in a continuous pattern of particle combination and as they become larger they are eliminated from the air more rapidly.

Additionally, positive and negative ions have microbicidal effects on pathogens ultimately reducing the effectivity of the virus.

The system has been placed strategically throughout The Martha ensuring coverage in all guest rooms and suites, public spaces, function rooms, restaurant and lounge, spa, fitness and pool facilities lobby and library .

Even as we take these steps we will still ask for all to wear masks when roaming our historic corridors, and exploring our nooks and crannies.”
